Refund Policy
1. Nature of the Service
Proofcan is a digital software service (SaaS). In exchange for a subscription, users obtain immediate access to features for marking AI-generated images, provenance verification (C2PA), and generating compliance reports.
2. Exception to the Right of Withdrawal
Because the digital content/service is supplied immediately, the right of withdrawal expires once the user begins using the service (for example, by performing the first image-marking operation). In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)), the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital services provided that the consumer has (i) given prior express consent to the service beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and (ii) acknowledged that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal.
By purchasing a subscription, expressly consenting to the immediate start of the service, and acknowledging the loss of the right of withdrawal, the user is deemed to expressly accept this.
3. Right of Withdrawal Information (for Consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Galzura Software Company, Volkan Çatak, address above, support@proofcan.com) of your decision by a clear statement (e.g. post or email); you may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the period expires.
Early termination of the right of withdrawal: For a contract for a digital service, if (i) you have expressly consented to the service beginning before the end of the withdrawal period and (ii) you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, your right of withdrawal expires once the service has been fully performed.
Consequences of withdrawal: In the event of a valid withdrawal, all payments received will be refunded without undue delay. As payments are processed through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, refunds are also carried out by Paddle.

4. Cases in Which No Refund Is Given
No refund will be issued in the following cases: the service has been started (at least one marking/verification operation performed); the subscription period has been partially used; the user has changed their mind; the monthly quota (for example, 5 operations per month on the free plan) has been used in full or in part, or has not been used.
5. Exceptional Cases
In the event of a complete failure to provide the service due to a technical fault, or of duplicate charges, requests will be assessed and reasonable solutions (including account credit or a refund) may be offered. Such requests should be made via support@proofcan.com.
6. Payment Provider
All payments and billing are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited as the Merchant of Record. The processing of refund requests is subject to Paddle's payment and refund procedures. A refund decision made through Paddle does not override your statutory right of withdrawal where that right has not yet expired.
7. Subscription Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no refund is given for the cancelled period, but access to the service continues until the end of that period.
