Limits of this comparison

  • The official C2PA product pages (truepic.com/c2pa/signing, /c2pa/capture, /c2pa/enterprise-c2pa) returned the Truepic Vision homepage when we checked on 6 October 2026, so the C2PA statements above come from an Internet Archive snapshot of the official page taken on 19 January 2025 and may not reflect the current offering.
  • The current homepage text we read does not mention C2PA.
  • The pricing page shows no date.
  • Truepic’s trust page is rendered with JavaScript and could not be read, so we make no statement about its certifications.
  • What Proofcan lacks: Proofcan does not cover video, audio or text, and its C2PA conformance application is still in progress.

Different starting points

Truepic’s site is about verified capture of photos and video for inspections and claims, priced with a monthly minimum. Proofcan does not do capture-time authentication; it marks AI-generated images after generation.
