For each image it writes a C2PA manifest that declares the image as AI-generated, embeds an invisible watermark that carries a lookup ID, and files the record in a registry, so the proof can outlive the file. Anyone can verify an image on proofcan.com without an account. Proofcan is operated by Galzura Software Company, Ankara, Türkiye, with processing in Germany and storage in the EU. Proofcan is a technical tool: it does not guarantee compliance with the EU AI Act or any other law.
